Happy 4th Loves!

I hope everyone has amazing 4th of July weekends this year!  I'm spending mine with Dad and Bex in ATL -- which is my last stop before my official move!  It's nice to be home where I can relax and lay around.. and also work out a lot since my first official meeting of my new classmates will be on a tubing adventure in bikinis.. so you know, my body's gotta be on point haha.  I'm finally able to catch up on my google reader and absolutely love reading what everyone is up to lately!  Hope your weekends are as relaxing as mine is!

Octopus Love.

I'm really loving these octopus images.. it's giving me inspiration for a future tattoo.  Idk what it is, but these creatures are fascinating to me.

Fun facts?  They have amazing eyesight and a really well-developed brain.. which has evolved separately from mammals.  It's the closest to an "alien" life form that has been found.  Also?  3 hearts.  Blah-dow.  There are highly intelligent and interesting animals.. and I could go on for a while.. but I won't bore y'all with my nerdy tendencies.

Tumblr Favs.

So before I ever started this blog (and wayy after my xanga/livejournal days), I began my tumblr.  If you're not familiar, it's a way of blogging that is more stream-of-consciousness than the way a lot of blogging is.  It's super simple, and it's a great way to compile all of my random thoughts, images I liked, inspiration, daily anecdotes, etc.. and a lot of my friends were on it too (although RSJ never quite jumped on board.. err.)

I've been spending these past snowy days snuggling with my boys, watching movies, drinking wine, and doing some sewing for my BMW's baby shower.  I think I may have made a few too many rosettes.. and I think they would so cute as a headband.  Hope Venessa's Etsy shop has given me some inspiration for how I can utilize these cute pieces.
